We are getting closer

As Thanksgiving approaches it gives me time to catch my breathe. Tennis is slowing down, racing season is once a month at this time, and classes are wrapping up. Brianna has her third competition this Saturday and then Sunday she leaves for week long cruise with the grandparents during the Thanksgiving holidays. Michelle is training like crazy and is ready for a week off from teaching. It appears that we may be close to owning our first RV. If all works out we will take possession next week during the Thanksgiving break. Talk more later.

A month and a half away

Well the last post I had was in September. The team finished the fall tournament season with a flurry. I have raced three times and keep finishing worse. I actually am riding much better but the guys in the class are real fast. The last race was held in Okeechobee and 30 guys were in the 250B class. I finished 20th but I honestly cannot complain about the way I rode. I am just not fast enough at this point. I am training off the bike and ride whenever possible. I will continue to work and know that at some point it will pay off.

Some other news is that my wife is working her tail off with a trainer and it shows. She is eating ultra healthy and has incredible discipline. My daughter placed 5th in her last meet with gymnastics which is a lot better than the first meet when she fell off the beam. It appears that she will have to miss the upcoming meet as she is going with the grandparents for a cruise during Thanksgiving. Oh well, she is only 6 so why not have all the fun you can have.
