Just a few ramblings
What a weekend. My guys played their butts off and had some good results. One of the guys won the gold division and another player lost in the finals of the blue division. Most of the other guys played some great matches to gain some nice experience. There was one bad incident that as of today is still causing me grief. Not to go into details I will say that it is something that I never thought I would have to go through as a coach. The issue was dealt with and is reaching resolution. I still cannot believe it happened and hope that the needed help is sought and obtained by the party involved. As I sit here and write I feel a little like an over the road truck driver. I was gone from Friday until late Sunday night. I leave again on Wednesday and will not return until Sunday. This tournament is big and I hope that the guys are ready for the task. To conclude, I must say that this bunch of guys is great. They are mannerly, funny, and very dedicated to the task at hand.

What is going on?
As I approach the ending of another week I actually feel that I am only starting another busy time. Tomorrow morning I will get up at 3:30am so that I can pick up my team at 5:15am to leave for Daytona. They will play the tournament Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, returning to the campus late Friday night. We will practice Monday and Tuesday and then turn around and leave at noon on Wednesday to head to GA for the ITA regional tournament. That tournament runs from Thursday through Sunday. They will have off Monday then we will practice Tuesday through Friday. I will leave Saturday morning to head to Chipley for FTR H/S #2. I will race Sunday and return late Sunday night or early Monday morning. We will practice Monday-Thursday and then leave at 6:30am to play a tournament in Orlando. That tournament ends on Sunday. The next week we will finish up pre-season team practices on Friday. I will again leave on Saturday to head up to somewhere near Jacksonville for FTR H/S #3. I will race on Sunday returning home late Sunday night. I think the next weekend I will actually not have anything going on. This is exactly how I wanted to live my life. From September 15 through October 12 I will not have one day at home to chill out. What a life. I guess I should really thank my mother for keeping my yard up, my wife for keeping the house up, and my daughter for not forgetting who I am.

I had my first race in my new class and on the new bike. The bike is so easy to ride but I do not have the ability to match it. The track was awesome and the trip was a blast. I have a great time with my wife, daughter, and mother. I am sore but that is about all. I have a lot to learn so that I can ride with the big boys in the 250b class. Hopefully, I will improve each time out this year so that I can become more competitive.

Today is my first day on the blog. I wanted to set up something so that people who need to know my schedule and what I do have an easy way to find it. This will probably be more of an informational piece compared to an entertainment driven blog.
